IV Infusion Therapy

Our IV Infusion Therapy services combine pharmacy and nursing services and make it possible for people to receive prescribed medications through intravenous lines or injections while at home.

We can provide chemotherapy, antibiotics, hydration, and pain management as well as other specialized IV infusion therapies. These therapies can be provided alone or together with our other therapy services. Our Assessment Process:

When a patient is interested in care for themselves or a loved one, our representatives are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help. We will conduct an initial phone assessment and evaluate the most appropriate services for their unique needs.

Once we have all necessary information, Med Plus HealthCare will conduct a Case Conference to determine the most appropriate treatment plan recommendation. Our Intake Coordinator will then work in direct conjunction with the patient’s physicians and other health care providers to receive their orders and coordinate our services directly with their Plan of Care. We also contact and verify the insurance provider/payer source (i.e. Medicare, private insurance, etc.).

We will then send our Registered Nurse to the patient’s home to complete a full physical assessment. If additional services are determined to be needed, the Registered Nurse will then communicate with the patient’s doctors or other healthcare providers to coordinate the appropriate care.
